What is forehead surgery used for?
Deep forehead lines, loose skin and brows that have begun to sit lower than they used to, can benefit from forehead surgery. It may also soften horizontal expression lines and the vertical lines between the eyebrows. Some people look tired or tense even when they are not, and that is usually what brings them to us.
Is forehead surgery the same as a brow lift?

How is a traditional forehead lift done?
Traditional forehead lift uses an incision behind the hairline, above the ear, and across the top of the head. In some cases, the incision may be placed in front of the hairline instead. That depends on the person’s hairline, skin, and surgical plan.
Will the incision be visible?
The incisions are usually planned around the hairline or within the hair when possible. That does not mean every person heals the same way. Hairline position, hairstyle, skin type, and the type of forehead lift can all affect what is visible afterward.
