What Is A Facelift
Virtually no procedure can do as much to restore your youthful appearance and make you feel like the best “you” you can be as a facelift. Dr. Samuel Beran, one of Westchester’s leading cosmetic surgeons, is an expert at achieving dramatic yet completely natural-looking facelift results for his patients.
A facelift can effectively reduce sagging skin on your face and neck and bring back the young, beautiful appearance you desire. During the procedure, Dr. Beran discreetly places incisions in your hairline, following the natural contours of your ears. These incision lines are designed to be easily concealed by your hair and makeup.
In order to achieve a firmer, fresher face and a more elegant neck, the deeper layers of your facial tissues must be tightened. The SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) is a layer of tissue that covers the deeper structures in the cheek area. A facelift lifts and repositions the SMAS as well as the skin, and also tightens other tissues beneath the skin to restore a youthful neck and jawline.
A Mini Facelift And A Weekend Facelift
Some of Dr. Beran’s younger patients choose a less extensive “mini facelift” to avoid early jowls and to restore the original contour of their neck and jaw line from their younger years. For others, the “weekend facelift” is also an option. (This refers to the fact that this type of facelift can be performed on a Thursday and the patient can usually return to work the following Tuesday).
Highly Experienced In Facelifts
One of the New York area’s best plastic surgeons, Dr. Samuel Beran has performed hundreds of facelift procedures with outstanding results. He understands how important it is for a woman to have smooth, young-looking skin and to feel confident about her face and herself. If a facelift is something you are interested in, Dr. Beran will explain the procedure and make sure you understand exactly what results to expect. He will take all the time you need and make sure your questions are answered.
How Much Does A Facelift Cost?
Because the texture and appearance of every woman’s facial skin is unique and the results she is seeking from a facelift are specific to her, the exact cost of this highly specialized treatment is determined by Dr. Beran after he has met with the patient and together, they have decided what type of procedure will achieve the best possible results.
